Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that Enterprises that are of Great Strategic Importance as "Turboatom" Open Joint Stock Company are supposed to be preserved in the State Property
It was declared during the interview in Kharkiv after visiting "Turboatom" Open Joint Stock Company.
During the conversation with the enterprise management "economic and finance state of the company, perspectives of its work due to the fact that approximately 25% of shares were transferred to the private property." "If the quantity of shares in private property would reach 25%, it would lead to the blocking of a lot of decisions essential for the plant", - V. Lytvyn emphasized.
"Turboatom" workers have desire to work, young people have intention to work, and there is no delay with salaries that are above the average rate through the region. The plant has stable income and pays taxes hence plans to sell the plan for the cost USD 100 million are not acceptable", - the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine proclaimed.
Moreover, V. Lytvyn declared that according to the prognoses, "energy sector in its entirety and power energy in particular would be of great demand as the world starts crisis overcoming."
Giving answers to the journalist questions, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also expressed for the further development of the spheres and enterprises that provide provision of the "leading places for Ukraine in scientific-technological process. Consequently it is necessary to remain "Turboatom" in the state property."
V. Lytvyn also expressed for the "favorable and considerable foreign policy" taking into the consideration influence of the political processes on the international economic cooperation.
V. Lytvyn informed that 60% of "Turboatom" production is exported to Russian Federation. "It is one more example that proves the necessity of the stable predictable relations with Russia as it the country of our target market", - V. Lytvyn proclaimed.
"Enterprise personnel needs development and predictable life and it may be provided if the relevant ministers and authorities facilitate its export activity", - he also declared.
Giving answers to the journalists questions on a press-conference in Kharkiv, V. Lytvyn expressed for the necessity of the adoption of "separate state program on Kharkiv region and especially on Kharkiv in order to be able to save the enterprises that used to be not only pride of Ukraine but of the whole USSR and not scarcely possess means for the existence."
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informed on his principal position regarding the inventorying necessity of the industrial potential of Ukraine that as inherited by Ukraine after the downfall.
"It is necessary to determine the register of documents of institutions and enterprises that provide the state safety and make everything possible for them to work efficiently for the state", - the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared.
V. Lytvyn also reminded that in his turn would make everything possible to preserve "Turboatom" in the state property.
